NASO Sports Officials and the Coronavirus Bill

We continue to work and monitor closely with the Department of Labor to provide direction and instruction for officials who have sustained substantial loss of income and game fees. Unemployment benefits and regulations will vary by state, however they may be covered under the Relief for Workers Affected by Coronavirus Act. We are currently awaiting guidance from the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL). Once received, states will need to program their statewide systems to accommodate the changes. This could take several weeks. We will continue to monitor and provide updates to our members and the sports officiating community.

We will continue to provide updates on this webpage so check back often for more information as details are released.

NASO Officiating During the Covid-19 Crisis

As the crisis unfolds, we have created a landing spot with stories from around the country on how officials an our industry are being impacted and how we are adapting and overcoming this unprecedented situation. If you see a story locally or from your state that is not listed, please feel free to send my way and we will include.
